Sam Thacker
The president and leader of the Business Finance Solutions team is Sam Thacker. He has been in banking and finance since 1994, most currently with a Houston Texas based bank while serving Central and South Texas. During his finance career, he has become intimately aware of many facets of risk management including personnel-related matters, payroll and workers compensation issues.
Sam has been a featured business adviser since May 2008 on AllBusiness.com, a D&B Company where he writes a weekly column of interest to business owners. Sam has written over 500 business articles and columns since he began writing for AllBusiness.com.
Sam is also a bi-monthly blog contributor to the Austin Business Journal and is a regular contributor to the Texas Entrepreneurs Network newsletter and actively mentors start-up businesses for the Austin Entrepreneurs Network.
Sam enjoys writing, public speaking, and teaching business classes. He has guest lectured at the University of Texas IC2 program.
For the past 3 years, Sam has been teaching regular business finance classes at the Texas State University Small Business Development Center.
Sam has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Texas State University.
Sam is active in his church, Toastmasters International, and several local non-profit organizations.

Lori Wickard
Lori Wickard is Business Finance Solution’s food and beverage manufacturing expert. Although Lori works with all types of clients, her specialty is financing food and beverage manufacturers and co-packers.
She also has experience with commercial real estate finance and equipment leasing.
Lori has a passion for skin care products and unique lifestyle products and enjoys helping clients reach their potential.
Before Lori came to Business Finance Solutions she owned a personal chef business.
When off duty, Lori spends her time gardening, cooking and attending area festivals. She is a lifelong Habitat for Humanity volunteer, and served on the Board of Directors of the Kinderhaus Montessori School and the local historical commission in Marshall, Michigan.
Lori has over 30 years of experience managing and running various enterprises.
Lori’s primary role is working with clients to champion their project loan to final funding.

Carol Crangle
Carol serves as the Business Finance Solutions team’s Customer Relationship Manager.
With over 18 years of banking experience working in the corporate banking and cash management for a mid-western bank, and many years of experience keeping dental practices running smoothly, Carol is the ultimate expert at juggling many tasks at once.
Her attention to detail is only exceeded by her great customer service skills.
Carol is also very good at putting processes together to make our company perform better.
If you choose to work with our company, Carol may be the first voice you hear when you call us.
Over Carol’s career, she has handled some of the most discreet and confidential matters for her employers and their clients. So you can feel comfortable giving Carol any information required for your funding project.
Carol’s primary role is working with clients to compile the numerous loan package documents necessary to evaluate and submit to a lender. She also helps us maintain our clients’ records and supports us through the entire funding process.
Carol also serves as the part-time Executive Assistant to Westview Marketing.
